Keeping You Safe

What We're Doing

The health of our attendees is our top priority and the planning committee is working hard to make the best decisions for our 2021 conference.  We have begun to put science-based policies in place to ensure we are offering the safest event possible in the midst of these unprecedented times. Some of these include:

  • Face masks required at all conference events
  • Extra time between sessions for room sanitization
  • Minimal exposure to food/beverage items and hotel staff
  • Six feet of space between each dining seat
  • Distanced breakout room set-ups
  • Daily temperature checks
  • Outdoor networking events

Please check back here or subscribe to our mailing list to stay up to date on the latest conference safety information.

Code of Conduct

It is the expectation of SMPS and the SERC planning committee that all attendees will abide by posted safety protocols. Failure to do so may result in the attendee being asked to leave the premises, reported to security or reported to SMPS chapters and other conference planning committees.
