While you’re learning, networking, and meeting new people, do some good at this year’s SMPS Southeastern Regional Conference!
Thanks to all of our SMPS Southeastern Regional Conference (SERC) 2018 friends and colleagues who coordinated the inaugural year of Learning, Networking, and Giving Back by hosting a charity event to support homeless veterans in the Southeast with a toiletry drive for Stand Up for Stand Down. On the heels of that success that raised money and contributions for more than 200 “comfort bags” for veterans, SMPS SERC 2019 chose Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte for our charity sponsor event this year.
Whether your family is dealing with a child’s sudden, serious health concern or a chronic illness, families find superior care and support at Levine Children’s Hospital in the heart of the “Queen City.” Levine Children’s Hospital ensures excellence in children’s healthcare by building partnerships with caregivers, families and the community it serves. This partnership began long before the hospital opened its doors in 2007, when generous individuals, corporations and foundations stepped forward to help build this community hospital as a place of hope. This support continues today through volunteerism and generous contributions. Levine Children’s Hospital is proudly affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, an alliance of 170 children’s hospitals throughout the country. Locally in Charlotte, Children’s Miracle Network raises more than $3 million annually and 100 percent of the proceeds benefits Levine Children’s Hospital, Jeff Gordon Children’s Hospital and related facilities in the Carolinas.
Look for our charity table set up in the Laurel Registration Area. You can drop off cards or other items from the hospital’s donation wish list. We also have supplies set up for you to simply write a few words of encouragement in a collection of “get well” cards that will be delivered to children at the hospital next month.
